Durant joins AmeriCorps

    The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) recently welcomed Nathan Durant of Williamsburg to serve as a team member and AmeriCorps volunteer for the 2013 season. Durant is the son of Gary and Karen Durant, also of Williamsburg. The MCC conducts conservation projects throughout the state of Maine, including extensive recreational trail construction and rehabilitation. Durant is a 2008 graduate of Penquis Valley High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where he studied biology.
