Thursday, June 6 Piscataquis Pomona Grange will meet at the South Sangerville Grange Hall to elect officers for 2013-14. The program begins with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. All area Grangers are encouraged to attend. For more information contact Bill Bemis at 924-3537.
Friday, June 7 Valley Grange volunteers meet at PCES at 8:15 a.m. to assist with the annual Arts Alive Day. For more information call Walter Boomsma at 343-1842.

Sunday, June 9 East Sangerville Grange hosts members of the Maine Organic Farmers and Growers Association (MOFGA) in Piscataquis County and neighboring towns are invited to the East Sangerville Grange at 5 p.m. for a discussion about the possibility of creating a Piscataquis County MOFGA chapter. The purpose of the meeting is to gauge interest in the idea and to brainstorm about what a Piscataquis County chapter might look like. An RSVP is not required but appreciated. Thursday, June 13 the Wayside Grange monthly meeting starts at 6 p.m. and members are encouraged to attend. The Grange is located at 851 North Dexter Road. For more information contact Dave Pearson at 924-5035.
Friday, June 14 Garland Grange hosts a chicken pie public supper from 5-7 p.m. at the Garland Grange Hall on the Oliver Hill Road. Menu includes all you can eat chicken pie, gravy, mashed potato, cranberry sauce, vegetables, homemade bread and desserts. Takeout is available, and proceeds will benefit the Garland Grange. Friday, June 21 Valley Grange in Guilford meets for the annual election of officers. All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting which starts at 6 p.m. with a potluck supper followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. The Valley Grange is located at 172 Guilford Center Road.
