Tick informational meeting
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Tick season is here. Knowing what to do when a tick is found can cut the risk of contracting Lyme disease. We need information about the signs and symptoms of tick-related diseases and what to do when a tick appears. Of special importance is knowing what to do and what not to do when removing a tick.
Ana Bonstedt, home horticulture coordinator for the Extension Service in Piscataquis County, will present that information on Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Thompson Free Library meeting room. For more information, call 564-3350.
