BIKES FOR BOOKS
The Masons in the SAD 41 area held their fourth annual Bikes for Books program this spring. For every book read by the students in grades K-6 they got an entry for a free bike. The Masons gave away two bikes in every grade, one for a boy and one for a girl.

This year the Masons throughout Maine spent $30,000 on bikes trying to encourage children to read. The staff and students in all three SAD 41 elementary schools are extremely grateful for this support. The Three Rivers Kiwanis also purchased the helmets for each student. An added bonus was having the Shrine clowns come and entertain.
