Cowboy sing-a-long May 18

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Saturday, May 18 at 7 p.m., the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church will host “How the West was Sung, Again” a community sing-a-long led by Lew Dow and the YesterYear Music Makers.

The YesterYear Music Makers have a wagonload of cowboy songs from the 1940s and 1950s. Songs such as “Tumblin’ Tumbleweeds”, “Don’t Fence Me In” and “Ragtime Cowboy Joe” will grace the program. The chuck wagon will serve up coffee, punch and cookies after the music, so mosey on down to the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church, located at 156 East Main Street, treat yourself to an evening of good songs and meet with your fellow “ranchers” as we entertain you with songs of the Old West.
For more information, please contact Lew Dow at 564-8013 or lld@myfairpoint.net .
