American Flag ColorFREDERICK, MD – Daniel Frederick “Danny” Ripley, 46, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, at his home after a battle of cancer. Born December 24, 1966, in Milford, Mass., he was the son of Robert and Carol Ripley of Dover-Foxcroft.
    Danny graduated from PCHS of Guilford in 1985. He loved working in the woods, riding his motorcycle, and he was a master auto technician. Danny’s favorite saying was “it is what it is”. Danny proudly served his country in the United States Army for eight years over the span of two wars.
    In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Scotty Ripley; and three sisters, Joy Lynn Foss and husband, Darrell, Jennifer Ann Dockham and her husband, Joel, and Christine Davis (Danny’s twin sister) and her husband, Jason; along with many nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his brother, David Lee Ripley.
    All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20004; or to the Disabled American Veterans, 1722 I St NW # 210, Washington, DC 20004.
