PO Carol Curtis OB    SANGERVILLE – Carol A. Curtis, wife of Kenneth O. Curtis, passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer, April 27, 2013, with her loving family by her side. She was born March 2, 1950, in Milo, the daughter of the late Lincoln A. and Alice M. (McKinley) Badger.
    Family was of most importance to Carol. She also enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and taking leisurely car rides. Carol was a member of the Abbot Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and her favorite scripture was Revelation 21: 3-4; “when there will be no more death and sorrow.”
    In addition to her loving husband and devoted caretaker throughout her illness, Kenneth, Carol is survived by her children, Geraldine (Curtis) Morrell, Rebecca Curtis, Tim Curtis and his significant other, Michelle Currier, Michelle (Curtis) Paradis and her husband, Eric, Kimberly (Curtis) Coppa and her husband, Damian, Branson Curtis, and Bratalyea Curtis; her grandchildren, Ryan Morrell, Kalie Tourigny, Treven and Toby Andrews, Kameron Tourigny, Chancelor Knowlton, Kaydence Lux, Chayce Foster, Donavan Vautier, and Desaray Paradis; her brothers, Herbert and Stanley Badger; her sister, Eileen Haley; extended family and dear friends, Patricia Magee who called her everyday throughout her illness, and Marilyn Dow.
    A memorial service was held 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 194 Main Road, Abbot. Arrangements are in care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
