Piscataquis County to host National Day of Prayer

    GREENVILLE — Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 2. The 62nd National Day of Prayer event will be held at the American Legion Hall in Greenville on Pritham Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m.

    State and local officials, pastors and lots of local folks will get together to pray for our government, churches, families, military, education, businesses and media. The Union Church Children’s Choir and local musicians will be providing music. Greenville Troop 120 will be presenting colors.
    Dinner will be provided. There is no admission fee. Come and bring loved ones, friends and neighbors; be part of a historical annual observance that was signed into law in 1952.
