Band presents a ‘Spring Out’ concert

    DEXTER — The Dexter Community Band will present a “Spring Out” concert Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at the Dexter Town Hall, 23 Main Street.
    The concert will have free admission, with donations accepted.

SPRINGING OUT — The Dexter Community band will perform a “Spring Out” concert on Sunday, April 21 at the Dexter Town Hall at 2 p.m.

    The brass ensemble will also be performing.
    The bands will play a variety of music including country, swing, Broadway tunes and the premiere of H.J. Crosby’s march, “The Pioneer.”
    The band is a wind, brass and percussion ensemble that plays a variety of pieces from traditional to contemporary.
    The spring concert will include a preview of planned summer concerts in Dexter and surrounding communities.
    The band is sponsored by the Carl R. Cuthbert Community Band Foundation, which promotes music education and fosters community entertainment.
