Dodson at East Sangerville Grange

lo-dodson-dcX-po-13    SANGERVILLE — The East Sangerville Grange will be welcoming David Dodson to their stage on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. Dodson writes songs that run the gamut of American styles-folk, rock, blues, jazz and country. His songs cover a wide variety of topics that range from the poignant to the hilarious. The Boston Globe says of Dodson, “An eyes-twinkling, word-twisting, pretension-shattering wit that delighted and surprised the crowd all night.”

Dodson has shared the stage with such music notables as KD Lang, Bill Staines, Ramblin Jack Elliot, Gordon Bok, Sha Na Na, Chicago and many more. He was also a winner of the “New Folk”  contest at the Kerrville Folk Festival.
To complement the world-class music, the Grange will have its world-class deserts for sale along with their surprisingly strong coffee. Admission to the Coffeehouse series is available in advance and at the door. Tickets are available at Bob’s Farm, Home and Garden in Dover-Foxcroft. The concert starts at 7, doors open at 5:30 p.m. For more information, or to make reservations, please call Alan Bray at 564-2722.
