PRYMCA hosting free senior luncheon

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis Regional YMCA will be hosting a free senior luncheon on March 29 at 11:30 a.m. at the Y, 48 Park Street. The luncheon is a chance for area seniors to come for a great potluck meal, see some friends and maybe make some new ones. The Y’s guest for the luncheon will be the Rev. Chad Poland from the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church who will also be doing the invocation for the luncheon.

“We are planning to have quarterly senior luncheons throughout the year,” said Deb Boyd, the Y’s executive director, “They are a way to build community and they also give us a chance to talk to our senior members and find out how we can better serve their needs. We are focused on bringing people together in a community-centered environment where we offer quality programs and services that meet our member’s needs.”
Those planning to attend are asked to call the Y to RSVP at 564-7111. The PRYMCA is a cause-driven organization that is committed to the community and dedicated to promoting healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, through programs and services grounded in Christian heritage and the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
