Three Rivers Kiwanis One Day Project has been selected

MILO — The Kiwanis One Day will be held on April 6 with a rain date of April 13. The Three Rivers Kiwanis will invite members of the Key Club and Builders club as well as the fire department, other organizations and the general public to join them at 8 a.m. to paint the gazebo as well as clear land in the vicinity of the gazebo at the Veterans Park in Milo along the Sebec River. Please bring tools and work gloves.

Each year, Kiwanis clubs around the world join in a day of service. In 2013, Kiwanis One Day is April 6. It’s a global effort, but it’s made of personal commitments. After all, Kiwanis One Day consists of the involvement of Kiwanis club members around the world.
It begins with a club’s participation. It extends to the impact you have on your community. And it results in an international spirit of service that inspires people worldwide. There will be no limit to what you can do — and no boundaries on your spirit of fellowship. In fact, your efforts will be echoed by clubs in communities all over the globe.
The Three Rivers Kiwanis meets every Wednesday morning at 6:30 at the Milo Town Hall on Pleasant Street. For more information, go to http://www.facebook.com/ThreeRiversKiwanis.
