Smith chosen for Outward Bound Leadership Award

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Congratulations to Foxcroft Academy junior Mia Smith, who has been selected as the recipient of the 2013 Outward Bound Leadership Award, which provides the course tuition for a 14-22 day Outward Bound Wilderness expedition. This is the 12th year that Foxcroft Academy has presented this award to a student in the junior class based on an application essay, leadership abilities and a commitment to community service.

    “Mia was a great choice for this award, and I know she’ll make the most of this opportunity,” said Head of School Arnold Shorey. “She excels in the classroom, is a strong leader for the girls’ soccer and track teams, and understands the value of serving our community.”
