Carolyn D. Sinclair

SINCLAIR, Carolyn D., 78, of Milo, at Brownville, February 3, 2013. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of The Lary Funeral Home, Milo.

PO Carolyn Sincalir OB    MILO – Carolyn D. Sinclair, 78, passed from this life into heaven on Feb. 3, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Brownville, with her girls around her. She was born October 10, 1934, in Medford, the seventh child and fourth daughter of Daniel H. and Eva (Dean) Lovejoy. She married the love of her life, Robert S. Sinclair, in 1955, and together they raised five children.

    Carolyn was a member of the Park Street United Methodist Church and the Milo High School Alumni Association, where she was serving as secretary.

    She is survived by four daughters, Robbie Grant and her husband, Gary of Brownville Jct., Eva Lambert and her husband, Vance of Charleston, Paula Copeland of Brownville, with whom she had made her home for the last days of her life, and Penny Demers and her companion, Scott Walton of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter-in-law, Lorraine Sinclair of Florida; two brothers, Kenneth Lovejoy and his wife, Nancy of Wayne, and Stuart Lovejoy of Florida; two sisters, Inez Scott of Chula Vista, CA, and Hope Dyer and her husband, Lewis of Milo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

    She was predeceased by a son, Allen; and several brothers and sisters.

    A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with Rev. Michele St. Cyr officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Park St. United Methodist Church, General Fund, PO Box 116, Milo 04463 or to the charity of your choice.
