For the second year in a row the cheering team from Dexter Regional High School is the Eastern Maine Class C champion as the Tigers finished with a score of 125 points to place first out of a dozen schools during the regional final on Jan. 26 at the Bangor Auditorium.

Dexter will move on to the Class C state competition Feb. 9 in Bangor, time to be determined, and will be joined by the other top six teams from Class C East and the top half dozen schools from Class C West. Team members include Katelyn Morgan, Taylor Goulette, Harley Ponte, Aaliyah Williams, Katie Merrill, Sarah Vigue, MacKenzie McKusick, Shayna Fogg, David McKusick, Madison Provost, Ansalewit Laughton, Danielle Whitten, Laurel Desmarais, Airielle Knowlton, Phoebe Phillips, Emmitt Ross, Matthew Stanhope, Alex Wulf, Stacey Allen, Mariah Hughes Korst, Tiger the mascot, manager Gabrielle Bilodeau and head coach Kacie Ladd.
