‘So You Think You Know Dover-Foxcroft’ trivia night set for Jan. 18

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Do you know Dover-Foxcroft inside and out, backwards and forwards? “So You Think You Know Dover-Foxcroft” Trivia Night will be held Friday, Jan. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. in historic downtown Dover-Foxcroft at Pastimes Pub, 118 East Main Street. Presented by the Dover-Foxcroft’s Downtown Committee, it promises to be a fun-filled evening where “townies” as well as “transplants” can join the fun.

Five-person teams will race to answer questions presented on the big screen. Teams may “buy a lifeline” from an expert panel, on hand to help with those tough questions. Ten teams will compete and everyone can watch their progress on the giant TV screen. It’s a multi-media extravaganza for Dover-Foxcroft fans that you don’t want to miss. Audience members are welcomed.

Proceeds go to the all-volunteer Dover-Foxcroft Downtown Committee. For more information see them on Facebook or contact Lisa Niles at the town office, or 564-3318; Erin Warstler at the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce, or 564-7533; or Janet Sawyer at the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council, or 564-3638.
