Retired educators replenish area school sports first aid kits

While attending sporting events for their grandchildren, several members of the Piscataquis County Retired Educators Association were appalled to notice the poorly equipped first aid kits being used.
Piscataquis County is home to four school districts, each with an athletic director.
While attending sporting events for their grandchildren, several members of the Piscataquis County Retired Educators Association were appalled to notice the poorly equipped first aid kits being used.
Piscataquis County is home to four school districts, each with an athletic director. Utilizing funds from The Day of Caring grant and funds from a recent silent auction, the PCREA proudly awarded each of the four athletic directors $100 to replenish supplies in their first aid kits.
Janie Lander was able to catch up with Union 60 of Greenville Athletic Director Erin Pelletier, SAD 4 of Guilford Athletic Director Joe Gallant and SAD 41 of Milo Athletic Director Jason Mills at area soccer games recently. She caught up with SeDoMoCha School of Dover-Foxcroft Athletic Director Cameron Archer as he completed painting lines on the soccer field.
All four athletic directors were very appreciative and pleased that retired educators in Piscataquis County were willing to support the young athletes.
