Piscataquis County Democrats contribute to Greenville food pantries

GREENVILLE — The Piscataquis County Democratic Committee continues to address food insecurity in our communities. This month, we delivered food items and a $200 check to the American Legion Food Pantry as well as a $200 check and food items to the New Life Church Pantry both of Greenville.

Our main commitment as the Service Committee of PCDC has been to help alleviate hunger in area communities. Local leaders of food cupboards, have relayed to us that their caseload is increasing and that they need all the support possible.

Our next food drive will be at PCDC headquarters on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please stop by with a contribution or food products (especially cereal and peanut butter) as well as household products and personal products. If you’re unable to come, please send checks to PCDC 25 North St Dover-Foxcroft 04426 c/o Service Committee or send to https://secure.actblue.com/donate/pcdcservice. Thank you so much for your support!
