Fourth Friday Plant Clinic on Zoom

DOVER-FOXCROFT — UMaine Extension Piscataquis County’s Fourth Friday Plant Clinic will be offered over Zoom at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 24. Donna Coffin and Trisha Smith will discuss garden and plant-related questions gleaned from recent emails and Facebook posts. To join the conversation, register for the link and submit a question of your own at https://extension.umaine.edu/piscataquis/2020/01/24/fourth-friday-plant-clinic/.

Coffin and Smith will live-stream portions of the Zoom call to the Piscataquis Extension Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/umaineextpsq/ ). Drop-ins are welcome. Garden in a Box and One Tomato participants are especially encouraged to share pictures of their gardens and talk about how they are doing.

Did you see the Dog Vomit Slime Mold? Or the Browntail Moth adults flying around your porch light at night? What about baby squash that are dying? Chances are, if you’re seeing something in your home or garden, there are others who have the same issue. The Fourth Friday Plant Clinic is one way to connect.

Tune in and learn what is happening in gardens in our area.
