Dexter and FA run at Old Town Sectional Invitational

OLD TOWN — Members of the Dexter Regional High School and Foxcroft Academy cross country teams ran in the 69th annual Old Town Sectional Invitational on Sept. 22.

In the boys’ varsity race Foxcroft’s Nic Daneman covered the 3.1 miles in a time of 20 minutes, 34.45 seconds to place 47th among a field of 80. Dexter sophomore Michael Gadwah ran a time of 21:20.61 to finish 56th. Pony senior Chenbin Yu placed 80th at 27:41.68.

Three Foxcroft girls ran in the varsity competition on Saturday afternoon. Pony sophomore Kaylee Durgin covered the course in 27:06.23 to finish 53rd among 65 entrants. Right behind was freshman Olivia McCorrison in 54th place at 27:09.04. Junior Leyao Liang came in 57th at 28:43.06.
