Portalatin finishes seventh in Shipyard Old Port Half-Marathon

PORTLAND — Rico Portalatin, 47 of Milo, turned in one of the top times at the 2018 Shipyard Old Port Half-Marathon on June 23. Portalatin covered the 13.1 miles in 1 hour, 17 minutes and 27 seconds, placing him seventh overall in a field of 2,825 finishers.

Five other runners from the region ran in Portland on Saturday. Julia Annis, 21 of Dover-Foxcroft, finished 626th in a time of 1:51.21; Heather Pullen, 40 of Dexter, was 1,004th at 1:58.18; Kathleen Dixon-Wallace, 51 of Milo, placed 1,675th in 2:10.26; Jody Coy, 48 of Dover-Foxcroft, came in 1,963rd at 2:16.37; and Tracy Glidden, 52 of Dexter, was 2,154th at 2:21.36.
