Two dozen run in Greenville in 16th annual Moose on the Run 5K

GREENVILLE — Twenty-four runners took part in the 16th annual Camden National Bank Moose on the Run 5K on the morning of Sunday, Oct. 8, starting and ending at C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital. Nearly $2,0000 in net proceeds from the race will support the Greenville Rec Program.

Race results are as follows: 1. Henry Hood 19 minutes, 27 seconds; 2. Philip Walsh 20:09; 3. Emily Hood — women’s winner 21:55; 4. Stuart Hedstrom 22:08; 5. Phillipe Poulin 22:49; 6. Bruce Jardine 23:00; 7. Brenda Hood 25:26; 8. Pierre Poulin 25:31; 9. Bradford Nichols 25:44; 10. Sherry Jardine 26:06;

11. Ashley Turner 27:08; 12. Anne Poulin 27:43; 13. Patricia Mollica 28:34; 14. Dan Barker 28:50; 15. Amanda Hunt 29:10; 16. Amber Simmons 29:12; 17. Holly Johnsen 29:29; 18. Rebecca Gordella 30:30; 19. Kristine Saccone 31:22; 20. Nick Saccone 31:23;

A HERD OF SMALLER MOOSE — A children’s 1K run fun was part of the festivities for the 16th annual Camden National Bank Moose on the Run on Sunday morning in Greenville. The younger runners ran an untimed loop around the C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital campus and each finisher earned a medal. Nearly $2,000 in net proceeds from the 2017 races will go to the Greenville Rec Program.
